The Museum visit
In our Museum you will find :
. An important panoramic wall composed of didactic boards exposing the origin and evolution of the Laguiole knife.
. Period workshop replica.
. Presentation of an important private collection of ancient Laguiole knife, many of which are exceptional pieces.
. Thousands of sharp forged tools from the different trades of old times , other unusual objects.
. Every weekday, Yves Conquet (laureate of the prix Artisans et Métiers d'Art de l'An 2000) works in front of the visitors and creates the only Damascus blade knives made in Laguiole village as well as art and collection knives.

Opening times
- July and August : everyday from 9h to 12h and from 14h to 18h with a presentation of a beautiful collection of ancient Laguiole knife collection.
- School holidays : from Monday to Saturday from 9h to 12h and from 14h to 18h.
For groups, Sundays and Bank Holidays opened on booking.
During the year the museum opens on demand.
